Chunky’s Tacos started as, what some (probably all) might call crazy, idea in 2015. The founder was a bright-eyed, utterly inexperienced, 21 year old looking to make an impact on the Valparaiso late night food scene. In 2016, after approaching basically anyone that would hear him out, he and his best friend secured a loan to get started. It wasn't long after that they purchased what may have been the absolute worst box truck in the country. Thus, the food truck which came to be known as Chunky was born.

Through a tremendous amount of work, countless unexpected trials & tribulations, tons of luck, a team that simply does not quit, and the best customers a taco-slinger could ask for, Chunky has persevered with his head held high.
